Join us on September 18 to support Democrats Abroad and enjoy a great evening out at "You Have to Laugh" Democrats Abroad Comedy Night 2012 at the Soho Theatre in London. With four fantastic comedians plus a drinks reception with the cast after the show, it's no wonder tickets are selling fast.
The polls are close, Republicans are flooding the airwaves with attack ads, and election day is nearly upon us. What's a Democrat to do? You have to laugh.
This year's Comedy Night stellar line-up features:
- Andy Zaltzman (co-host, with the Daily Show's John Oliver, of The Bugle podcast)
- Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh, The Sarah Silverman Program, and Second City)
- John Moloney (two-time winner of Best Live Performer at the London Comedy Festival)
- Dave Fulton (comedy circuit regular and a big hit at our 2008 comedy night)
Proceeds will be used to fund the Democrats Abroad get out the vote operation, including staffing and office space for our campaign team here in the UK (now that's something to smile about).
NOTE: This popular event always attracts a tremendous amount of interest, so book now to avoid disappointment.
PRICING:
- $150 for a premium seat, and a complimentary drink. Or, book a premium table seating up to 4 people for a discounted rate of $500
- $75 for a standard seat
- $60 for a high bar stool
- $30 for a limited number of concession seats (reserved for concession purchasers like students and the unwaged)
HOW TO PAY: This form will allow you to reserve your tickets. For really dull legal reasons, we cannot process your contribution (the payment for these tickets) through EventBrite. So we've created a special landing page at the Democrats Abroad site. When you finish filling out this form and reserving your tickets, on the "Confirmation" page you will see a link that will whisk you away to the other site so that we can take your money. (We'll also remind you of that in the ticket confirmation email.)
THE RULES: Tickets may be purchased only by persons who are legally qualified to contribute to a US political party (US Citizens over the age of 18, etc), and the contributor may not accept reimbursment from any person. Additional details will be provided at the payment web site. It's OK to bring non-Citizen guests, so long as their ticket is purchased by a qualified contributor.
